Ok it's been a while since I posted but I really have to tell you about the Grand Rapids Museum. It's a couple hours away from where I live so my dad took us for a pong car ride. The museum was absolutely humongous! It had three stories of exhibits and each floor was packed. On the first floor was a cars exhibit and a "Streets of Grand Rapids" thing where the museum workers made an exhibit that was supposed to be Grand Rapids in the 1850s-1950s. It was amazing, they had an old high wheeler bike, a printing press which they made all of their bookmarks with, an automatic orchrestra, and so much stuff! They even had a cool car exhibit where even i was interested! Which that does take a lot. The second floor had a civil war exhibit and fifties dresses which were really cool to see, I thought a lot if them were pretty and I'm sorta jealous because I wish I could have them. The second floor also had info about ivory, pewter, and other things I can't quite remember. The third floor had the museum stuff that I love, animal exhibits where they have stuffed animals (I know it sounds horrible), they had an Egyptian exhibit where they had two real mummies! It was really neat. They did part of the animal exhibit where it zooms up on small life. They made a huge model of algae of what it looks like in a microscope. They even had a part where it showed a dead mouse and bugs, this mouse was so realistic that it made me shiver. If you are ever in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, then you have got to check out their museum!
